Welcome to Blondes vs. Brunettes Columbus, where two teams of women divided to reflect rivalries such as East vs. West or Blondes vs. Brunettes compete in a flag football game to inspire fundraising, awareness and action in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.  The Young Professional group affiliated with the Central Ohio Alzheimer's Association, the Junior Committee, plans Blondes vs. Brunettes as their signature fundraising initiative each year.

The funds raised through BVB benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Central Ohio Alzheimer’s Association. The Alzheimer's Association strives to:

  • Help families across the country by continuing to provide and enhance programs focusing on education and support.
  • Advance critical research studies into methods of treatment, prevention and ultimately, a cure.
  • Speak up for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer’s through our public policy initiatives.

In our eighth year, BvB Columbus continues to engage the community, raising over $148,056 to date. We are looking for dedicated players, coaches, and volunteers to continue this momentum, making 2016 game bigger and better than ever. Want to cheer on the crowd? Donate to one of our players and you can receive admission to the game!

Take the first step today by registering to play or volunteer.

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

Anyone can get involved, no matter your level of ability, hair color or gender. Blondes vs. Brunettes Columbus is recruiting players, super fans, coaches and anyone interested in serving on planning committees. Redheads are free agents!
